Computer Music Seminar, Lynn Kowal
5:30pm Room 314C

Lynn will talk about her experiences in the music industry in Los Angeles. She made her debut as composer of the theme music for the NBC show Homicide which ran on TV for nine seasons. She is the first alumnus of the Masters degree program in Computer Music at Peabody, graduating in 1991. Currently she is on the board of directors and seminar committee of the Society of Composers & Lyricists and performs in her rock band Starfish Lily. Recently she did sound editing and foley for Walt Disney's Treasure Planet which is being released this month.
